A Little Bit of Sunshine No. 15

a little bit of sunshine no 15

Oh, hey Fridayyyyy!! It’s been a busy and kind of sleepless week over here (hello eight month sleep regression!) and I’m looking forward to relaxing this weekend. NO plans are my fav kind of plans! 🙂 I know it’s also been a little quiet over here on the blog; we’ve mostly just been surviving enjoying summer but today I’m sharing my usual Sunshine Series roundup of recent purchases, favs, and things I’ve got my eye on.

What’s in my shopping cart this week…

For Mama…

  • Just got this diffuser and I love that you can turn the color changing light on or off and it’s so pretty!
  • Girl, Wash Your Face! I just finished reading this book and it was inspiring and funny and uplifting and something every woman should read
  • These booties are part of the Nordstrom Sale (which only lasts for a couple more days!) and are still available in all sizes!
  • I bought my mom this BEACHES book and it is the perfect coffee table, but beware: you will want to go to the beach after flipping through it.
  • Every time I wear these headbands I get questions, so here they are!

For Mini…

  • Lately, Olivia has been a little too preoccupied with the way she looks and I wanted to teach her about inner beauty and I found this book and LOVE it! It’s a great message for any child.
  • These Mini Melissa shoes are also part of the Nordstrom Sale and still available in a ton of sizes.

For Baby…

  • This little hammer toy is one of my favs. We got it as a gift for Olivia and I just brought it out of storage for Nathan and he loves it too.
  • Nathan is also super into this cute little steering wheel and even big sister Olivia is always taking it away from him to play with it herself.

What’s on the menu…

I have been looking for some good breakfast recipes to make on a Sunday or Monday to last the rest of the week and I think this Very Berry Baked Oatmeal will fit the bill. It looks SO good and it’s something I know Olivia will love. I’ll let you all know how we like it!

A Funny Story…

Olivia and I were on our way to her drop off class when the following conversation happened:

Olivia: Mom, do you have my iPad?

Me: You can’t watch your iPad right now, baby.

Olivia: I didn’t ask if I could watch my iPad, I asked if you had it.

Aaaaaaand I just got checked by my 3 year old.

XO,

L
