Nevertheless She Persisted Tee

It’s Friday, it’s a sunny 70 degrees out, and I’m here with the Sunshine Series! It’s been a gorgeous week here! Warm weather finally decided to grace us with its presence. Although, I think we’ve skipped spring and gone straight to summer with a few 80 degree days. But I am not complaining!

What’s in my shopping cart this week…

For Mama…

  • I can never resist a good black and white striped top!
  • My friend recommended this book to me and at first it was kind of hard to get into but once I did I couldn’t put it down! Highly recommend!
  • Love these neutral sandals for summer
  • I neverrrrr buy sunglasses over $20 because children. And these shades are only $17 and also come in black
  • These floral jars and the tea towel are both part of the Opalhouse collection at Target

For Mini…

  • I love these Once Upon a World books because they take a classic story like Rapunzel (or Cinderalla, Snow White, etc) and change the setting and culture of the characters. We already have Cinderella and just bought Rapunzel.
  • Olivia has been wanting a night light and this bunny light (they also make a bear one) is super cute, remote controlled, and can light up different colors.
  • The cutest little sandals for my mini.
  • I bought these bingo daubers for Olivia and then printed out some fun bingo dauber printables and she loves doing them. It’s a fun activity that will give all you mamas at least 20 minutes to drink your coffee while it’s still hot.

For Baby…

  • Baby + fedora = cuteness
  • We recently started Olivia and Nathan in swim lessons and he looks soooo adorable in these little baby trunks!
  • Nathan is teething like crazy and I’ve got these little teethers in my Amazon shopping cart

What’s on the menu…

Last fall Eric and I put in a patio and now that the warm weather is here I am looking forward to lots of grilled dinners and eating outside. These BBQ Chicken Bacon + Pineapple kabobs look DELISH! Add this yummy raspberry limoncello prosecco to the mix and you’ve got the recipe for a perfect summer night!

A funny story…

The other day Eric and Olivia were driving and he sent me a lovely little video recording of Olivia saying, “Dammit! I forgot my keys!” Of course he asked her who says that and I’ll give you one guess… yep! Another Mom of the Year Award goes to me!

Have a happy weekend, friends!

L
