Sweet Christmas Charcuterie Board

December 10, 2019

I love a good charcuterie board. They’re pretty to look at, they’re simple to make, and they’re so tasty! If you remember, I created this charcuterie board a while ago and it’s usually my go to when I am having people over. But I wanted to mix it up a little bit and try a whole different kind of charcuterie board– a sweet Christmas charcuterie board, if you will.

My friend Lindsay (It’s Simply Lindsay) hosted her annual Christmas party this past weekend and I brought my sweet Christmas charcuterie board to her house for a dessert. It was a hit and something I will definitely be making again. The best part is that it takes a grand total of 15 minutes to make so it’s great if you’re in a pinch!

I made this board with a frosting dip in mind and tried to think of what would be good to dip in that. I used pretzels, graham crackers, cookies, pizzelles, strawberries, raspberries, and grapes. I also added candy canes and Hershey’s chocolate kisses for some extra fun.

Once your dip is made and in a good serving bowl, center it on your board and then get to work arranging the sides all around it. I try to group things together as opposed to just putting everything everywhere. Also, make sure your grapes and strawberries have been washed and dried in advance so they don’t get everything else around them soggy.

For the Frosting Dip:

  • 1/2 cup nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 5 Tb butter, softened
  • 3/4 C powdered sugar (add a little at a time to taste)
  • 1/4 C flour
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  1. Using a mixer, beat butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar in a bowl for about 2 minutes
  2. Add flour and vanilla extract and continue to beat until combined.
  3. Slowly add yogurt until combined.
  4. Using a spoon, stir in desired amount of sprinkles
  5. Serve in a bowl and add additional sprinkles on top and add everything around it!

Enjoy!
