Hey friends! I have been meaning to get this blog post out for a while now! You may remember that back in February we started several renovations/updates on our kitchen, basement, and powder room and I talked about that in this post. Well, our powder room is 100% finished, so here is the big reveal!
We didn’t originally plan to redo our powder room, but we made some changes to our kitchen that required us to salvage flooring from somewhere else in our home and we decided that somewhere else would be the powder room. And so the idea of doing a quick little reno of that bathroom was born. We figured we would tear up the floor in the bathroom and use it for where it was needed in the kitchen and then we would replace the wood with new tiled floor. Plus, we got a new vanity and put up wallpaper and it made ALL the difference!
You also might remember that I blogged a powder room inspiration board and I have to say that my vision truly came to life! This is what our powder room looked like before. So boring!
I knew I wanted a navy blue vanity and I love the way this one looks in the space. I had also been crushing on this wallpaper for a while and it makes the perfect statement in here. (Shout out to my husband for hanging the wallpaper like a pro!) We chose this really pretty white/light gray marble hexagonal tile and it looks really great contrasted with the dark vanity and colorful wallpaper. I also painted the ceiling a navy blue to match the vanity. I am SO happy with the way it all turned out and I truly feel like this is the first 100% completed room in my house!
