Mommin’ Like a Mother

Hey Friends! It’s been a slow week over here and I’m just ready for the weekend. It’s been one of those weeks where I feel like I’m doing everything and yet somehow doing nothing at all. So here’s a little bit of randomness…

Olivia’s birthday decorations are still up from almost 2 weeks ago, I still have not put away all the laundry I’ve washed from Hawaii from almost 3 weeks ago, and I really don’t plan on doing either of those things any time soon. So there’s that. #judgeme

Yesterday, Olivia and I made chocolate chip cookies together and they were close to becoming just plain cookies because she kept eating all the chocolate chips. Fortunately, I was able to save the cookies from being chocolate-less and I’ve eaten 4 today. #judgeme

The other day I was at a store with my mom and Olivia, and we went to the fitting room to try something on. My mom stepped out of her fitting room to show me her outfit and I turned my back on Olivia for 10 seconds– I know, rookie mistake– and when I turned back around she was crawling under the stalls right into an occupied fitting room. I shrieked and yanked her little legs, pulling her out of the dressing room and of course, she bursted into fits of laughter. #judgeme

For her birthday, Olivia got this magic wand that plays music over and over again. She had it in the car the other day and kept playing it. We haven’t seen that wand since… #judgeme

And that my friends is what mommin’ like a mother looks like. 🙂 Thanks for reading all my random stories and thoughts today. And don’t judge me too harshly.

LOL that was awesome! Ive definitely had the under fitting room door caper. Like a toddler version of a bar crawl?.. Best part is when you’re half dressed and noticed – then what?! Run out half naked or tell the kid to make a new friend?!

Hahaha lots of noise-making toys “mysteriously” disappear from our house too! No judgement here! And about those birthday decorations… leave ’em! Life is always better with a little extra flare ✨
