Hello and happy Monday to you all! I hope you had a fun and enjoyable Halloween weekend! We were actually major party poopers this Halloween because both Olivia and I were sick and the weather was so dreary that we wound up staying home, eating chicken noodle soup, and cuddling in front of the fireplace. I did, however, manage to get a few cute pics of her in her costume from a small community Halloween party held at the local high school last week. And I must say that she’s the cutest little chicken I’ve ever seen!
She is looking at me like ‘Mom, you’re crazy and take waayyyyy too many pics.’
So I know I’ve been saying for the last few weeks that a lot has been going on in my life and that I’ve been so busy and today I am finally able to share the exciting news!
Drumroll please… Eric and I bought our first home together! But wait, that’s not all! I’ve also decided to take some time off from my full-time teaching position and be a stay at home mom (and blogger, of course!). These are some really big and new changes for our family and we are so excited to start this new adventure!
These last couple of weeks have been filled with packing, home-buying stuff, and wrapping things up at my job and now we are all moved in and I can focus on whatever lies ahead! I will be posting a home tour later this week, can’t wait to show you all our new home!

Congratulations on buying a house and for the huge job switch!! It’s hard to stay at home when you’re used to working, but it is totally worth it to be around your little one more. Congrats! Enjoy the adventures ahead!
