Holiday Books for Little Ones

holiday books for kids

One of the side effects of being a former English teacher is having an addiction to buying books. I love adding more and more books to Olivia and Nathan’s home library. Of course we check out books at our local public library every week, but if there’s a book we love then into my Amazon shopping cart it goes! And what better time to add to our book collection than the most wonderful time of year?!

It’s always fun to take the holiday books out and read them throughout the season. I know many people have the tradition of getting new pajamas and a new holiday book on Christmas Eve and these books would be perfect for that or just to add to your library as we near the holiday season. I’ve also included some books about Hanukkah. You may or may not know that we are an interfaith family and it’s important to Eric and me that our kids know about both cultures, customs, and religions.

We love every book on this list but our very favorites are The Story Orchestra Nutcracker, Little Blue Truck’s Christmas, and Pick a Pine Tree! And my new favorite that I bought this year is When Santa Was a Baby. I know your kids will love it!

Happy Reading!

XO,

L

You probably know that Ami’s new book is out now: “A Timeless Christmas” and it’s a Hallmark book, so it’s G-rated! This time she writes as Alexis Stanton. Happy Holidays!
