A Little Bit of Sunshine No. 18

October 4, 2018
sunshine series no 18

Hey friends! It’s time for the monthly ritual of saying, “I can’t believe it’s *insert new month here*!” Soooo, I can’t believe it’s October already! This is one of the best times of the year and it’s even better when you get to share it with kids! We’ve already crossed apple picking off our list (if you’re local, check out All Seasons Apple Orchard) and I’m planning on taking the kids to a pumpkin patch soon. And for this week’s Sunshine Series, I’m sharing a few fall favorites and a Halloween craft today.

What’s in my shopping cart…

For Mama…

I got so many compliments when I wore this outfit a few days ago that I thought I’d share.

  • These booties are currently on major sale and come in 3 more colors.
  • The color of this sweater gives me all the fall feels!
  • This lace cami is so pretty but I would def size down.
  • My jeans are more of an investment but so worth it!

For Mini…

  • This pink fuzzy sweater is ADORABLE and I kinda wish it was sold in my size!
  • Can we talk about these mini duck boots? I love them!
  • I just ordered this book for Olivia so I’ll let you know how we like it!

For Baby…

  • I’m on the hunt for a cool weather jacket for Nathan and this one is just too cute!
  • We had these foam blocks when Olivia was a baby and I recently pulled them back out for Nathan and he LOVES them. He’s too little to build but it’s fun to make towers for him and watch him knock them over.
  • My mom bought the kids this tunnel and Olivia and Nathan both have so much fun crawling and following each other through it.

What’s on the agenda…

Last Sunday we all stayed in our jammies aaaalll day long playing and doing Halloween crafts. This popsicle craft is super easy– all you need is popsicle sticks and paint/paintbrushes. Start by lining up 8 popsicle sticks and glue two trimmed down sticks (you can just cut them with scissors) to the back of the 8 sticks. Let them dry for a few minutes and then you can start painting! I did use black construction paper for the back of the witch’s hat but you could use popsicle sticks for that as well.

Happy weekend!

XO,

L
