Giving Back to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

This post is sponsored by General Mills. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Hi friends! I am so excited today to talk about something I am passionate about– giving back. There are a million ways to give back such as helping out at the food pantry, reading to the elderly at a nursing home, or picking up trash at your local park. It’s not always easy to find the time to do those things (especially with two young kids), so it’s nice to know I can also give back in other ways like donating to CMN Hospitals at my local Costco!

Our family loves Lucky Charms (but seriously, who doesn’t?). I think my loveaddiction of Lucky Charms started when I was pregnant with Nathan and it was one of my cravings that basically never went away! Olivia eats them for breakfast (starting with the marshmallows, obvi) and I eat them for dessert. Laying in bed, watching my favorite shows with a bowl of Lucky Charms is seriously my guilty pleasure.

Being able to buy a product I already love and have the opportunity to donate while I’m at Costco is a cause I can really get behind and the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is such a worthy cause. Did you know that 62 children enter a CMN Hospitals every minute? EVERY MINUTE. Whether it’s for something like a broken bone or something more serious like birth defects or cancer. That could be my child, it could be your child. I know it’s difficult to think about, nobody wants to imagine that their child could wind up in the hospital for any reason, but that is why it’s so important to do all that we can to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the amazing work they do for children’s health. So I encourage you to make a stop at your local Costco and pick up a box–or 2 or 3 because you can never have too much cereal–of the specially marked boxes of General Mills Cereals and also support the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals while you are there.

XO,

L
