THE BACHELOR!

Tell me I’m not the only one that still watches The Bachelor/Bachelorette?? Actually, I already know I’m not the only one because Eric loves it just as much as I do. There. I just totally outed him. He comes home from work every Monday and says, “Big night of TV tonight!” 🙂

It’s kind of our Monday night ritual to put Olivia to bed and hurry downstairs to relax on the couch and watch the best of reality TV. It’s the kind of mindless show that is just so entertaining. And it doesn’t hurt that I think Nick is cute.

Anyway, I thought I’d put together a fun little “mocktail” (you can totally make it a cocktail if you want to get crazy on a Monday night) for all my Bachelor fans out there. I call it my 7UP® Strawberry Lime Broken Heart Punch.

7UP from Walmart has been a staple in my house since I was a kid. Need a refreshing drink? A mixer for a cocktail? 7UP always has me covered and is always at every celebration (from birthday parties to Bachelor rose ceremonies) so it’s obviously the main ingredient in this super easy drink.

7UP Strawberry Lime Broken Heart Punch (serves 3)

• 3 cans of 7up
• 1 cup of halved strawberries
• 1 large lime
• ice

1. Slice your strawberries, put them in a pitcher, and muddle them
2. Juice the entire lime into the pitcher and stir
3. Add 7Up and mix
4. Serve over ice and garnish with a strawberry and slice of lime

*if you choose to add alcohol, I recommend 6 fl oz of vodka

I challenge you to a fun little game where you take a sip every time they say the word ‘rose.’ Although, this drink is so yummy that you might finish it before the final rose ceremony. 😉 Pick up your own pack of 7UP at Walmart and try this refreshing punch for your next celebration.
