Happy Birthday to Hubby: Gift Ideas for Men

August 5, 2016

Tomorrow is my sweet husband’s birthday! The BIG 36! Whoo hoo! Birthdays are kind of a big deal around here so I like to make the people in my life feel special. We plan to spend the day together as a family doing something fun and then have dinner plans with friends. But then there’s the whole issue of what to get him for a gift. Ugh, guys are just so hard to shop for! #amiright?! So i was perusing the world wide web looking for gift ideas for men (probably a bad idea to start looking just a few days before his birthday, but whatevs) and I found a few good ideas. So I put together a birthday roundup in case anyone else needs help finding gifts for the guy in your life.

Gift Ideas for Men

  1. Yard dice are perfect for some outdoor fun or get your guy a giant Jenga set.
  2. Fill this wooden beer caddy (that also doubles as home decor for you) with an assortment of craft beer from Binny’s or Trader Joe’s and add these beer chilling coasters for a complete gift set.
  3. For the technology lover, get the Amazon Echo. It plays music, answers questions, reads audiobooks and whole bunch of other stuff.
  4. Hubby swears by these Nordstrom Dress shirts, but hurry because the last day of the sale is Aug 7th.
  5. I love this black and gold Nixon ‘Ragnar’ watch black but Eric doesn’t love yellow gold so this camel and silver watch is a good option (both of these are also a part of the Nordstrom sale).
  6. If your man is a griller then this skewer grilling basket is great. Also check out this outdoor popcorn popper that would be perfect for fall!
  7. I’ve talked about these packing cubes before and they are really perfect for anyone because they keep your suitcase so organized (and if you’re anything like me, you need all the organization you can get). But anyway, they’re great if your hubs/S.O. travels a lot.
  8. These headphones are wireless, bluetooth, noise canceling, and sweat proof. My hubs would love these for when he works out.
  9. This bottle cap map would be great for a man cave.
  10. Get your man a GoPro Camera for all his adventurous moments. And by adventurous, I mean every time he tries to kill a spider or change a blowout diaper. 😉

I hope you found something good on this list for the special guy in your life! Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to try to trace Olivia’s hand on Eric’s birthday card while she tries to take the pen away from me. 🙂

Any other good gift ideas for men that I should add to this list?

XO,

L

My dear son 36 years old. How is that possible when I still feel like I’m 36. Interesting. I remember the day he was born like it was yesterday. He was so precious and perfect. A mother never forgets the excitement and out of this world joy and love the day their child is born. Eric , you will always have a special place in my heatt. My love today and forever. Best wishes for a very Happy Birthday tomorrow. Enjoy your day with 2 of your most favorite girls.
I love you a bushel and a peck.
