Baby, It’s Cold Outside: Fav Scarves + Hats

The holidays are officially over (insert crying emoji here) and the stores are gearing up for all their spring merchandise. And to them I say: hold up! For many of us, especially us Chicagoans, there are still 3 more months of winter (insert another crying emoji here). In fact, the most brutal time of winter is still yet to come. You know, the type of cold where it’s hard to breathe and the wind hurts your face? Yeah, you warm weather people have no idea what I’m talking about right now, do you?

Actually, I really enjoy the winter– I know, what’s wrong with me? I enjoy it because I love each change of the season. I love that after a long, cold winter 45 degrees in April feels like a balmy, tropical day. 🙂 I don’t mind cold weather because it gives me an excuse to cuddle up on the couch with a blanket and all the cozy things. Okay, so I don’t exactly need an excuse for that, but whatever.

But when you have to leave the house and face the bitter cold, you want to at least look cute, right? I have always had a love affair with scarves and I probably have about 50 and that’s not exaggerating. They’re warm, cute and add instant style to any outfit. I also love beanies. Is my hair washed under there? You’ll never know and I’ll never tell! So I’ve rounded up my favorite scarves and beanies to keep you warm until that 45 degree heat wave in April, because baby it’s cold outside! 😉
