5 Truths + a Lie

When I used to teach, I would always start the school year off by playing fun icebreaker games so that the kids could get to know each other and I could get to know them. One of my go-to games was always Two Truths and a Lie. I think you all know this game, but just in case you don’t, it’s where you tell 3 things about yourself and two of them are true and one is a lie and everyone has to guess which one is the lie. So I thought I would do my own spin on it and do 5 truths and a lie. Ready to play?

1. I recently realized that I’ve been singing “Row, row, row your boat” wrong my entire life. You know the line that says, “Life is but a dream”? Well, I always thought it was, “Life is ’bout a dream.”
2. I had plans for a really good, super interesting blog post today, but those plans got derailed by the best episode of The Bachelorette EVER. Um, can we just talk about Chad for a minute? #creep
3. The other night I got mad at my husband for trying to kill a bug, missing it, and then letting it get away.
4. It’s not even a full month into summer and I’m already annoyed by the increase in the amount of baths Olivia now needs.
5. I am now at the point where if I want to accomplish anything while out in public with Olivia, it means letting her eat an entire bag of yogurt melts so I can have some peace.
6. I definitely did not buy a new pair of shoes to celebrate my one year blog-iversary. And I’m definitely not going to hide that purchase from my hubby. Nope. Definitely not.

Soooo? Any guesses on which one is the lie? Anybody? 😉
