You guys, cue the massive well up in your eyes and stream down your face tears. My baby is turning two. TWO. As in two whole years. That’s 730 days, but who’s counting? (I definitely am.) How is she a walking, talking adult already? Okay so maybe she’s not an adult but sometimes it sure feels like it. There are moments when I look down at her and I don’t see a baby or a toddler, but a little girl! A little girl that just melts my heart.
So we are gearing up for her second birthday party in a couple weeks and because you already know that gift guides are my jam, I put together a round up of gift ideas for two year olds.
Bowling set – I can totally see Olivia having a ball with this soft bowling set
Water Wow – Omg everyone NEEDS one of these. It’s a painting/coloring book and all you do is fill the little brush with water and they can paint the pages, but the best part is that it dries and is totally reusable!
Buckle Board – I really want to get this for Olivia so she can learn how to zipper/buckle/button/snap etc
Felt Storyboard Set – The perfect quiet activity!
Button Art – This activity looks so fun and comes with 10 different boards and it’s a great way for kids to learn their colors
Toy Animals – Olivia loves playing with the plastic farm animals at the library and lining them all up
Inflatable pool – How cute is this inflatable pool?!
Mini trampoline – This is for the super energetic little ones in your life
Balance Bike – Okay, so Eric and I have been debating whether to get her a regular bike with training wheels or a balance bike and I’m leaning towards balance bike. What are your thoughts?
Mini Sofa Chair – My friend bought this for Olivia last year and she uses it every single day
Giant Blocks – Olivia is really into stacking blocks and these giant blocks will be perfect for her.
A few other girly things I’m crushing on are this mini dress rack that’s perfect for all those adorable princess dresses. And how cute is this cottage house?
I hope you find something here for the two year olds in your life! Now it’s back to practicing putting up two fingers with the cutest soon-to-be two year old!
XO,
L
