Hi Friends! I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day! We enjoyed our weekend with lots of family, friends, and even some warmer weather– FINALLY! It was sunny and warm and I even broke out a spring dress! Yippee!
I love when spring rolls around because of the warmer weather (obvi!) and that means I get to swap out all my winter clothes for all the pretty spring things. But that does mean doing a little laundry too because after a few months of being stored away, sometimes those clothes need a bit of freshening up with Purex® Crystals. So as I pulled out all my spring clothes (and maybe added a few things to my online shopping carts) I made a mental note of all the spring + summer essentials you’ll need in your closet this season.
Spring Essentials:
1. White Dresses. If every woman needs a little black dress then they also need its counterpart, the LWD (little white dress). I love pairing a cute white dress with items #3 and #4 for a simple spring or summer outfit like I did over the weekend!
2. Off the shoulder tops and dresses. This trend was everywhere last summer, it’s not going anywhere this year, and it’s pretty much my fav trend ever.
3. Denim Jacket. In the warmer spring and summer months I never leave the house without my denim jacket. I am totally the type of person that would rather be cold than ruin my cute outfit with a jacket that doesn’t go (ask my mom, she thinks I’m crazy) but I never have to worry about that with a denim jacket because it goes with everything.
4. Wedges/Espadrilles. I swear these are the most comfortable wedges I’ve ever owned and they are totally worth the splurge, but if you can’t bring yourself to do it then these are an amazing dupe.
Now that you know what to wear this spring and summer, head to the store to pick up your own bottle of Purex Crystals. When I was at Target I bought the Lavender Blossom for me and the Fresh Spring Waters for hubby so he doesn’t get jealous. 😉
