Make Me Chic: Navy, Baby!

Last weekend, Eric and I were in Michigan City, Indiana for a childhood friend’s wedding. Michigan City is a small but very cute little beach town. The wedding was Saturday night and we stayed in a hotel so that we wouldn’t have to drive the hour and half home that night. The next morning we had a delicious brunch and then drove along the lakefront and drooled over some gorgeous beachfront properties. Even though it’s still August, it felt like a beautiful fall day– a little breezy, but the sun was just warm enough.

It was the perfect day for this little number that I got from Make Me Chic, one of my latest online store discoveries. The navy blue deep v-neck lantern sleeve ruffle lace up dress was comfortable and perfect for the weather (I will say that the v-neck is quite deep so I did one little stitch so that the girls weren’t hanging all out!). Oh yeah, and it’s less than $30! I also loved how it went with my new booties and my new obsession with felt hats!

Make Me Chic has some super cute clothes, accessories, and shoes for affordable prices. Some of the other things I was crushing on was this colorful floral top, this scallop trim top that would be perfect for a date night, and these super cute sunnies!
