Happy Fridayyyyy! It’s been a few weeks since I did the Sunshine Series and it will be a while before I do one again, because for the next few weeks I will be posting my holiday gift guides! WHOOO HOOO! The gift guides are my favorite thing to post about because it combines the two things I love most: shopping + blogging! I plan to do my usual gift guides for the ladies, guys, kids, and gifts under $25/$50 BUT I would love to know what else you would like me to include! Do you need gift guides for the… dogs in your life? Grandparents? The weird hippy aunt and uncle that live in Oregon? Let me know in the comments if there is something specific you want to see! For Mama…
Just bought that super warm + cozy pink beanie because can you really have too cute many hats? NOPE. Also just bought those jammies and right now they are 30% off at checkout (the red ones too) so go get your holiday jammies on! I recently bought Big Little Lies (because I’m going to have SO much time to read, right?!) and will hopefully finish it before Baby gets here. And finally, fuzzy ball sleepers because why not?

Okay, the most important thing on this list that you MUST buy– no ifs, ands, or buts about it– is the Story Orchestra Nutcracker book. I know I have raved about the original book before on the blog and this one is just as cute. Each page plays a snippet from Tchaikovsky’s original Nutcracker and it is just such a fun book for you and your little to read. Also, I just bought that storage bin for Olivia’s room and that super warm NorthFace jacket. The jacket is definitely a little pricey but something she’ll get good use out of. And I really wish those jammies came in adult sizes! So cute!
What’s on the menu…
I am not the biggest fan of traditional red chili. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it either. But set a bowl of white chicken chili in front of me and now we’re talkin’. This recipe looks DEEEELISH and so creamy! I think I might try throwing it in the crockpot this Sunday for an easy dinner!
Things that make you go hmmm…
The other day my friend and I were talking about all the various ways that people discern whether you’re having a boy or a girl. Everything from if you’re carrying high/low, carrying out front/wide, did your face get chubbier, the speed of the baby’s heartbeat, Chinese gender chart, and the list goes on and on! What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever heard someone say about figuring out baby’s gender?
