A Little Bit of Sunshine No. 6

a little bit of sunshine no 6

First of all, I just want to say thank you all so much for your support on yesterday’s blog post. Your comments and emails made me feel SO MUCH BETTER. I love that I can put my real feelings out there and get back so much love from you. And now, it’s that time again for my favorite compilation of randomness: the Sunshine Series!

What’s in my shopping cart this week…

For Mama…

I’ve been wearing the same ol’ Nikes for a while now, but it was time to retire them and buy these New Balance shoes that I LOVE. And these leggings are just calling my name (once I’m done being prego, obvi). Also, I’ve been putting the finishing touches on our home office/play room (I promise I’ll show you once it’s finished) and I loved this hand-painted globe. They have so many cute options for baby rooms and gifts too!

For Mini…

I [shamefully] never fully finished Oliva’s nursery so I’m now working on her “big girl room” and bought this beautiful hand-painted wood sign and can’t wait for it to arrive. And in our quest to potty train, I bought the step stool and faucet extenders that makes hand washing for littles so much easier! I don’t know about you, but my kid is obsessed with play-doh and this pizza making set is her new fav!

What’s on the menu…

Breakfast has always been Eric’s and my thing. We love going out to get a delicious breakfast every weekend, but we recently started eating breakfast at home on Sundays and love it just as much. We were just saying last weekend that we want to try making some new breakfast meals other than the basic breakfast sandwiches and this biscuit egg casserole caught my eye on Pinterest. Can you say YUM?! If you have any other breakfast recipes that you love then send ’em my way!

A funny story…

I took Olivia to her 2.5 year appointment the other day and as we’re waiting in the reception area Olivia starts talking to another mother and her baby. The mother comments on how cute Olivia looks wearing her sunglasses inside. I tell the mother that my daughter is quite the diva and Olivia says, “And I’m nosy too!” #kidssaythedarndestthings

XO,

L
