There is nothing quite like home sweet home! We got back late Sunday night after almost three weeks of traveling, 5 flights, 4 trains, and countless buses, taxis, Ubers, and cars. It was quite an adventure and I can’t wait to share the photos and stories with you all… that is of course, after the jet lag wears off and I get through the laundry pile that is Mount Everest.
In addition to getting my pregnant self back to a normal sleeping schedule (I know, good luck with that), I’m also trying to break all the bad habits we created with Olivia while we were away. It’s all fun and games until you get home and your toddler wakes up at 6am because she “just wants to playyyyy” and then fights naps like it’s her job. Oh yeah, and then that whole twice daily gelato thing that we had going on in Italy. Seriously, twice a day. Every. Day.
But no matter how fun traveling is, there is nothing better than being in your own bed, in your own home, and not living out of a suitcase. Plus, there are two things that Italy does not have: Target + Starbucks. And you better believe that I visited them both already since being home. 🙂
