Family Day at Wrigley Field: Go Cubs, go!

July 1, 2015

Hey there, baseball fans! I hope everyone is gearing up for a fun, relaxing, firework-filled Fourth of July weekend! I wanted to share a little family day that we had last week.

Two of my brothers in-law have season tickets for the Cubs and every year Wrigley Field hosts a Family Day just for season ticket holders. They were kind enough to give Eric and me their unused tickets so that we could take Livy to Wrigley Field for the first time.

It really is such a fun day, especially if you have kids that are a bit older and can enjoy things like bounce houses and playing catch in center field. And of course it’s fun for big kids like my husband that get to see the Cubs clubhouse, batting cage, and press box.

We even got to sit in the dugout and touch the iconic Wrigley Field ivy. And walking out on the field and seeing what the players see was pretty surreal too.

It was a fun day and hopefully one day we can go back when Livy is walking and maybe she and Daddy can play catch! 🙂

Have a great long weekend, everyone!

XO,

L
