A Little Bit of Sunshine No. 11

bit of sunshine no 11

Happy FriYAY! It’s actually been a pretty busy around here with doctor appointments, dance classes, and playdates, so this week flew by! We don’t have much planned the next few weeks so I am planning out some fun blog posts– spring favs, Olivia’s 3rd birthday party, and a post on my tips + tricks for losing the baby weight and that will include some progress pics **insert scared emoji face here.** But for now, it’s the sunshine series!

What’s in my shopping cart this week…

For Mama…

I have the coral sweatshirt (I also have it navy) and love it! It’s the perfect lightweight sweatshirt for spring (if it ever arrives). Lately, I’ve been on the hunt for some pretty espadrilles and these caught my eye (more espadrilles coming soon on my spring favs post). I’m pretty sure I shared Big Little Lies on here before but I finally finished reading it and I’m super excited to start watching the show! Anyone watch it?

For Mini…

We’ve made slime before but this kit is nice because it provides everything you need. And how cute are these flats and purse (Liv loves to carry a purse just like Mommy). I shared Rosie Revere Engineer on my Gift Ideas for Three Year Olds post and loved it so much when we got it that I had to share again.

For Baby…

I just bought this Mustela shampoo that’s specifically for cradle cap and after just a few washes, I can already notice a difference with Baby Boy’s scalp. Also, these little wrist rattles are so fun to watch him look at and play with!

What’s on the menu…

The other day I had some very ripe bananas and even though I am not a fan of banana bread, I thought I’d use them to make some just so that Olivia and I could do something fun together. Well, this cinnamon banana muffin recipe converted me to a banana bread lover. Oh em gee. These muffins were so good that for 3 days I literally ate one for breakfast and then Eric and I would both eat one in bed for dessert while binge watching reality TV.

Things that make you go hmm…

I was recently talking with someone about what life is like now with two kids. Great! I said, But hard! And I went on to say that so many people said going from 0 kids to 1 kid is much harder than going from 1 kid to 2 kids. And I totally DISAGREE. From the insane amount of laundry to the logistics of having two kids, I definitely think it’s more challenging (there’s also a lot more love, so there’s that 😉 ). So let’s have an unofficial poll… what do you think?

Have a happy weekend!

XO,

L
