Who here is always super busy and on the go? Hahaha! Silly question! You’re a mom, of course you’re always super busy and on the go. Whether you’re a WAWM (work at work mom) or a WAHM (work at home mom) it is easy to get consumed by the day to day things we need to do just to raise tiny humans. And it gets even more difficult as we approach the end of summer and the back-to-school season. Because even though Olivia isn’t in school yet, we do tend to tighten up our carefree summer schedules into a more structured routine come September. That’s why I have a few tips and tricks that help us busy mamas save time and energy and maybe even a little bit of sanity.

6 Time Saving Tips for Busy Mamas

  1. Always have healthy on-the-go-ready snacks available. Even when I’m busy and on the go, I try to keep healthy snacks available and ready for Olivia. Which is why I was so glad to find Go & Grow by Similac® Mix-Ins™ and Go & Grow by Similac® Milk-Based Powder where the nutrition is in the mix! And both of these are available at your local Walmart and at Walmart.com. Making sure that Olivia eats healthy is a priority but can also be a challenge because toddlers. Go & Grow by Similac® Mix-Ins™ has protein, fiber, and essential vitamins and minerals, and Go & Grow ® by Similac Milk Based Powder has OptiGro™ that is designed to support brain, eye, and physical development, so they’re my secret weapon to ensure Olivia gets all the good stuff! The Go & Grow by Similac® Mix-Ins™ can be added to foods that your toddler already likes for extra nutrition, like how we added it to her oatmeal in the photos below. And for me, the best part is that the Go & Grow by Similac® Milk-Based Powder is just added to water and then you’re on the go. Busy mom bonus right there!
  2. Order #allthethings online. Whatever you don’t have to buy in the store, buy online. This means less time time spent at the actual store and less energy lugging bulky things like diaper boxes around. Oh, and did I mention you can order Go & Grow by Similac® online as well? Check them out hereAnd take advantage by earning $3.00 with the purchase of any size of Go & Grow by Similac® Mix-Ins™ with this offer.
  3. Make lists. Lots of them. Make a list for the things you need to do that week. I swear by making lists in my Wunderlist app. Think about all the things you need to do and places you need to go for that week and write them down and organize them based on proximity and amount of time they’ll take.
  4. Map out your play dates and activities for the week on Sunday. Check the weather and figure out what your plans are for the week. Going to the splash pad? Choose a day when the weather will be nice. Is it time for a trip to the library? Choose the cloudy, rainy day! This way you don’t have to try and figure out what to do for the day because you already have a plan.
  5. Organize your diaper bag. Do this the night before or at the beginning of the day while your little ones are still sleeping. Make sure you’ve restocked diapers and wipes, have sippie cups ready, and has both pairs of shoes! This way you have everything you need for whatever activities you’re doing that day and you don’t have to run around the house like a mad woman.
  6. Make the most of nap time. Sometimes nap time is when you need a break to just sit and watch Ellen, which is totally okay! But most of the time, us moms are so busy that we have to utilize every minute that we don’t have a tiny human attached to our hip or leg. This is when you can throw that Mount Everest pile of laundry in the wash, or do the dishes, catch up on bills, phone calls, etc.
