Happy New Year’s Eve! Got your champagne (or sparkling cider) ready??
I rarely (never) post on weekends, but New Year’s Eve called for it. I enjoy New Year’s Eve and reflecting on the last 365 days and what I loved (mostly everything) and hated (Trump) about that year. Like any year, there were plenty of low moments, but I’m thankful that there were many more high moments. It was my first year being a SAHM, I turned thirty (yikes!), and I have the best husband and daughter a girl could ask for.
Soooo, I thought I’d share my top favorite moments of 2016:
- When Olivia started saying ‘mommy.’ Olivia said mama and dada quite early on (FYI she totally said mama first 😉 ) but when she started saying MOMMY I’m pretty sure my heart exploded. And my heart still melts every time she says it.
- Turning 30. Thirty always sounded so old (anyone over 30, please don’t hate me), but I am so happy and confident in this age and time of my life that I love it!
- Celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary. I actually thought we were about to celebrate our 2nd anniversary but Eric reminded me (and teased me) that it was actually our third year of marriage. What can I say, time flies when you’re having fun. 🙂
